Anne Price Teacher of English and EAL
Together with my husband and three children, I have lived and worked in Zambia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Lesotho, Swaziland and South Africa as well as the UK. All my children are also teachers, as well as parents. I graduated from Swansea University with a BA (Hons) in English and History of Art and then a PGCE (in English and EFL). I am currently working towards an MA in Creative Writing. I love writing and am a member of the Association of Freelance Writers. In addition, I have a Diploma in Interior Design. My main interests are reading, poetry, art and culture. I love cooking, so I have to keep fit by walking/running and exercising in the gym. Profile

After a successful career in financial services I decided to train to be a
teacher having obtained a BA from the Open university. I took a PGCE in
History at the University of Reading and taught in England for 6 years,
mainly History, but also Business, drawing on my previous business
experience. I then taught in Bucharest, Belgrade and Kuwait before taking up
a post at BISK. My passion is History and I strongly believe that a greater
understanding of the past will help the leaders of today make fewer
mistakes. I recently took a CELTA course which is helping me understand
students whose first language is not English.
